We love closure. In fact, we almost demand it. We even have an expression when we don’t get closure. We say we feel we were “left hanging”. In a number of Jesus’ encounters with people, the narratives leaves the reader “hanging” and wondering, “Just what did he/she do with that challenge Jesus gave?” The fact is, in many instances, we’re simply not told. We will explore the answers to His challenges in our summer sermon series, “The Cliffhangers of Christ”.
